Please check your certificates.  --  The class sizes are limited and there will be no certificate expiry extensions

 

Flatline will recognize certificates from other agencies, Red Cross, St John, etc. that meet the same criteria as above to complete your training.

 

We want to be confident that our environment is safe for everyone and that we have the right safety measures and protocols in place.  Our approach will be methodical while following all provincial and federal health authority guidance.  

COVID Guidelines

  • All participants are required to wear a face mask in al public areas..
    Our classroom set to ensure a minimum physical distance of six feet from all others.

  • Sharing of equipment or practicing skills on each other WILL NOT be a component of your training.  All equipment is cleaned & disinfected at the end of each class.
     

We remind all participant to contact our office BEFORE attending class if you answer YES to any of these questions:

Do you have any new or worsening of any of the symptoms below:

  • Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Chills, Painful swallowing, Nasal Congestion,

  • General feeling unwell or tired

  • Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, Unexplained loss of appetite, loss of sense of taste or smell,

  • Muscle/joint aches, Headache, Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

Have You

  • Travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days?.

  • Had close contact with a case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

  • Tested positive or are waiting for test results for a recent COVID-19 test.


You will be required to fill out a medical questionnaire prior to start of class.

We kindly ask that anyone who is feeling unwell, has traveled out of the country in the last 14 days, or has been in contact with anyone with COVID-19, to stay home and we will assist you with re-scheduling your course.  Should a reschedule be required for illness a new booking will be a minimum of 14 days from the date of your transfer request.

We enforce a strict 15 minute late policy, and a no show will be a forfeiture of course fees

Classroom Guidelines

 

As part of these changes, we will open our classrooms to a maximum of 10 participants. Throughout our facilities, physical distancing practices will be in place combined with disinfection and health monitoring protocols. 

Please keep in mind, that while the economy is re-opening, it does not mean that the threat from the COVID-19 pandemic is over, and we must continue to be vigilant with our protective and preventative measures.

Please review the following information and expectations.

  • All students must have a confirmed registration to enter the facility

  • There are hand sanitizing stations throughout the training centre,

  • All students must sanitize their hands, prior to entering any classrooms.

  • All students will be required to fill out our health questionnaire provided before class begins.

  • Students are to arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of class.   If you arrive early, please remain in your vehicle until check in begins.

  • Students will be provided PPE for use during their training

  • Students will be required to remove their masks to perform certain skills during class

  • All individuals should take steps to allow for physical distancing of two meters throughout the building.

  • Instructors will be conducting continuous screening during classes and ensure that all equipment and frequently used surfaces are appropriately cleaned and sanitized.

  • Our individual training pods have been set up according to physical distancing measures and must remain in these positions - please refrain from moving the furniture.

  • Use of the lunchroom area has been strictly limited and there is no coffee service.  You are welcome to bring your own coffee in travel mugs.  There are many restaurants in the area.  Students can make use of the take-out and drive-through services.  You are welcome to bring a bag lunch.
